It’s true that success in sales is partly about personality and confidence. But the salespeople who consistently hit their targets are those who combine great interpersonal skills with a clear sales process, a good understanding what customers want, and the ability to close the deal. 

This course provides those new to sales or who lack formal training with a set of tools and techniques to help them improve the success rate of their sales calls and meetings in a wide range of contexts. It focuses on communication skills, on developing and articulating an understanding of customer needs, and on knowing how to reach agreement confidently. 

The training is delivered live online to small groups, and can be adapted to suit the needs and commercial context of your organisation. It is led by an expert trainer, and provides plenty of opportunities for discussion, Q&A and interaction alongside trainer input.

What participants will learn

This intensive session is designed to have maximum practical impact in a short time. It provides tools and tips around topics including:

  • Maximising results across a structured ‘5 steps of the sale’ selling process
  • Creating a great first impression with clients
  • Using voice tone and positive language effectively
  • Using powerful questioning techniques to fully understand customer needs
  • Identifying and selling benefits, features and USPs
  • Overcoming the challenges of selling remotely and communicating confidently via online platforms  
  • Using technology with confidence, including the digital sales platforms and toolboxes your company uses if applicable
  • Action planning

After the course every participant receives a PDF course handbook covering everything they’ve learnt on the course.

 

How is the training delivered?

This is a live and fully interactive training session. Just like classroom training, it is delivered by an experienced tutor to a small group, ensuring plenty of chances to ask questions and discuss experiences. 

Using a free web based interface, delegates are able to see, hear and interact with the trainer and other participants in real time. The session is intensive, and last about 90 minutes, equipping participants with a raft of instantly implementable techniques to improve their ability to convert prospects and make more sales.
