Research consistently shows that wellbeing is one of the most important drivers of performance for both individuals and teams. Teams that report high emotional, physical and social wellbeing tend to be more engaged and more productive, as well as enjoying lower rates of absence and staff turnover.

Good management is one of the most important factors shaping wellbeing within a team. A manager who is proactive in monitoring and protecting wellbeing and is seen as a source of support in difficult times can be the difference between a team that succesful and one that flounders.
