Course details
Who is it for?
This course is ideal for those who have to manage small or medium sized projects as part of their job, particularly non-project management specialists or those who have no formal project management qualifications.
What’s this course about?
Effective project management is critical to the success and reputation of organisations of all types and sizes. Well managed projects drive change, focus activity and facilitate accurate assessment of success against agreed benchmarks.
With project work becoming more and more part of our working lives, many non-specialist project managers are leading small and medium-sized projects alongside their many other responsibilities. This can lead to lack of focus and drift. Those leading projects need to be properly equipped with the skills to develop a clear framework for each project that provides structure, enables co-ordination, acknowledges and manages risks and sets clearly defined goals.
The Leading Projects course has been designed to address the needs of non-specialists who have be given project management responsibilities and who want to develop a professional, organised and structured approach. It is a practical and realistic programme, with a course handbook containing a wealth of valuable tools and templates that builds into a handy desktop reference.
